1. Who we are

SOKI Social Sauna is operated from Europalaan 2B, 3526 KS Utrecht (KVK 42063987). Questions? hello@sokisocialsauna.nl.

2. House rules

SOKI is a shared, quiet-ish space. To keep it a good place for everyone we ask you to:

• Respect other guests - no loud phone calls, no unsolicited contact, no intimate behaviour in shared areas.
• Come sober. Alcohol, drugs and being visibly under the influence are not permitted.
• Shower before entering the sauna. Swimwear is mandatory, and always sit on a towel on the benches.
• Keep phones on silent and out of the sauna and ice bath rooms.
• Follow instructions from staff at all times. We reserve the right to refuse entry or ask guests to leave if house rules are broken, without refund.

3. Bookings & cancellation

Sessions must be booked online in advance. Capacity is limited and walk-ins are only possible if space is available on the day.

Cancellation refunds are tiered:

• More than 48 hours in advance: full refund.
• Between 24 and 48 hours in advance: 50% refund.
• Less than 24 hours in advance or no-show: no refund. The full amount remains due.

Bookings paid with credits (membership or Punch Pass): cancellations more than 24 hours in advance restore your credits in full; less than 24 hours in advance or no-show, the credits are forfeited.

Refunds are issued via the original payment method within a few business days. Weather conditions (snow, storms, KNMI code orange/red) and personal circumstances that make attendance impossible do not entitle you to a refund outside these windows.

If SOKI cancels a session for any reason, you receive a full refund or a free rebooking of your choice.

4. Payment

Payment is processed at the time of booking via Stripe (iDEAL, credit card, Bancontact, SEPA). We do not store card details. Prices are shown in euros and include applicable Dutch VAT.

5. Memberships

SOKI offers monthly memberships that renew automatically until cancelled:

• SOKI Weekly (€49/month): 4 credits per month. Everyday Sauna and Extended Sauna cost 1 credit; Ambient and Aufguss / Opgieting cost 1.5 credits each. Whole unused credits do not roll over, but a leftover half credit carries over to the next month.
• SOKI Unlimited (€99/month): unlimited access to all session types.

Membership credits and Unlimited access are personal and only cover your own spot; when booking for a group, the other guests are simply paid for at the regular session price.

Cancellation: memberships can be cancelled at any time from your account. Access continues until the end of the paid billing period. No partial refunds on already-paid months.

Pauses: in exceptional circumstances (e.g. temporary closure of the venue) we may pause billing for all active memberships. You will not be charged during a pause.

Price changes: we may adjust membership prices with 30 days' notice by email. Your existing subscription keeps its current price until you resubscribe.

Punch Pass: a one-time credit bundle (no subscription). Credits work the same as membership credits and are valid for 12 months from the date of purchase; unused credits expire after that and are non-refundable. Punch Pass credits are personal and only cover your own spot; when booking for a group, the other guests are simply paid for at the regular session price.

Punch Pass right of withdrawal: you may withdraw from a Punch Pass purchase within 14 days without giving a reason. If no credits have been used, you receive a full refund. If credits have been used within that period, the sessions taken are deducted at the regular session price and the remainder is refunded. After 14 days, Punch Passes are non-refundable.

6. Gift cards

Gift cards are valid for one year from the date of purchase and can be redeemed for any session or partially applied to a booking. Gift cards are non-refundable, non-transferable to cash, and cannot be replaced if lost.

7. Health & safety

Sauna and ice bath use carry inherent risks. By booking a session you confirm you have read and understood our health disclaimer and that you use our facilities at your own risk. Do not use the sauna or ice bath if you are under the influence of alcohol or drugs, have a serious cardiovascular condition, uncontrolled high or low blood pressure, epilepsy, or a fever - unless your doctor has explicitly approved it.

Guests under 16 are not admitted. Guests aged 16–18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.

8. Liability

Your visit to SOKI is entirely at your own risk. To the extent permitted by law, SOKI is only liable for damage caused by our intentional acts or gross negligence. We are not liable for:

• Personal injury or health effects arising from sauna or ice bath use, unless caused by our gross negligence.
• Loss, theft or damage to your personal belongings.
• Indirect or consequential damages.

You are liable for damage you cause to our property or to other guests. Reasonable cleaning or repair costs may be recovered from you.

9. Lost & found

We keep items found on the premises for 14 days. After that, unclaimed items are donated to a local second-hand shop or disposed of. We accept no responsibility for items brought onto the premises.

10. Photography & privacy

Photography and filming of other guests inside the venue is not permitted. SOKI may occasionally photograph or film for promotional purposes; we will always ask for explicit consent before including recognisable individuals in published material.

11. Personal data

We process personal data as described in our Privacy Policy.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The latest version is always available at sokisocialsauna.nl/terms. Material changes will be communicated by email to active members.

13. Applicable law

These terms are governed by Dutch law. Any dispute arising from your visit or booking will be submitted to the competent court of the district of Midden-Nederland, unless mandatory law provides otherwise.
