1. Who we are

SOKI Social Sauna, located at Europalaan 2B, 3526 KS Utrecht (KVK 93466307), is responsible for the processing of personal data as described in this privacy policy. Contact us at hello@sokisocialsauna.nl.

2. Data we collect

When you create an account and make a booking, we collect:

  • Your name and email address
  • Booking details (session, date, group size)
  • Payment status (via Stripe, we do not store card details)
  • Communication history (messages sent through our platform)

3. Why we process your data

  • To process your booking: we need your name and email to confirm reservations and send reminders.
  • To manage your account: your data is stored so you can view and manage bookings.
  • To comply with legal obligations: booking records are kept for financial administration.

4. Data retention

We retain your personal data for as long as your account is active. Financial records (bookings) are kept for 7 years to comply with Dutch tax law. You may request deletion at any time.

5. Your rights (AVG / GDPR)

Under the GDPR you have the right to:

  • Access: request a copy of your personal data
  • Rectification: correct inaccurate data
  • Erasure: request deletion of your account and personal data
  • Portability: receive your data in a machine-readable format
  • Object: object to processing for direct marketing

6. Third parties

We use the following third-party services:

  • Stripe: payment processing (Stripe's privacy policy applies to payment data)
  • Google: optional Google Sign-In (Google's privacy policy applies)
  • Railway: hosting infrastructure (servers located in the EU)

7. Cookies

We do not use tracking or advertising cookies. We use only functional browser storage (localStorage) to keep you logged in during your session.
